Mic Monsta (real name Molua Alous Mosima) is a Cameroonian rapper and songwriter from Kumba, and widely known by his stage titles “The Microphone Njoku” (a nod to the Bakweri people of Cameroon) and “Mayor of Punchline District”
🎤 Career Highlights
He started rapping at age 16 (around 2008), releasing his debut track “I No Get Chorus” in 2010, which quickly gained attention on local radio across Kumba and Southwest Cameroon.
His mixtape My Thoughts—The MixTape (2012–2013) featured cover versions of songs by artists like Lil Wayne, Ice Prince, Kendrick Lamar, and M.I., showcasing his lyrical strength.
In 2014, his remix of Jovi’s “Bwam” stirred controversy but ultimately earned him recognition; Jovi later invited him to feature on the remix of “Et puis quoi”

The Future
Born and raised in Kumba, Cameroon, Marnick is an Afro-fusion artist of Bakossi origin from the Kupe Manenguba Division in the Southwest Region of Cameroon.
She began her musical journey in 2016, driven by a passion to create a sound that bridges culture, emotion, and modern African rhythms.
Currently signed to Kwata Music INC, Marnick is the label’s only female artist and made her official debut with “Days Like This”, a collaborative track featuring Mic Monsta, Dready Christ, and Torch City. Her versatility and distinct voice quickly set her apart, positioning her as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Cameroon’s music scene.
Marnick describes her sound as Afro-fusion, a blend that reflects her roots while embracing contemporary influences. With two extended plays — “Fresh Mutumbu” and “Dione The EP” — she has showcased her range and ability to deliver both soulful storytelling and infectious melodies.
Through these projects, she continues to carve her identity as one of the leading voices of her generation, representing resilience, authenticity, and innovation in African music.
