Mic Monsta (real name Molua Alous Mosima) is a Cameroonian rapper and songwriter from Kumba, and widely known by his stage titles “The Microphone Njoku” (a nod to the Bakweri people of Cameroon) and “Mayor of Punchline District”

He started rapping at age 16 (around 2008), releasing his debut track “I No Get Chorus” in 2010, which quickly gained attention on local radio across Kumba and Southwest Cameroon.

His mixtape My Thoughts—The MixTape (2012–2013) featured cover versions of songs by artists like Lil Wayne, Ice Prince, Kendrick Lamar, and M.I., showcasing his lyrical strength.

In 2014, his remix of Jovi’s “Bwam” stirred controversy but ultimately earned him recognition; Jovi later invited him to feature on the remix of “Et puis quoi”
