Born and raised in Kumba, Cameroon, Marnick is an Afro-fusion artist of Bakossi origin from the Kupe Manenguba Division in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. She began her musical journey in 2016, driven by a passion to create a sound that bridges culture, emotion, and modern African rhythms.
Currently signed to Kwata Music INC, Marnick is the label’s only female artist and made her official debut with “Days Like This”, a collaborative track featuring Mic Monsta, Dready Christ, and Torch City. Her versatility and distinct voice quickly set her apart, positioning her as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Cameroon’s music scene.
Marnick describes her sound as Afro-fusion, a blend that reflects her roots while embracing contemporary influences. With two extended plays — “Fresh Mutumbu” and “Dione The EP” — she has showcased her range and ability to deliver both soulful storytelling and infectious melodies. Through these projects, she continues to carve her identity as one of the leading voices of her generation, representing resilience, authenticity, and innovation in African music.
